Ingredients

I can't decide which ingredient is best in these viral magic cookies. Maybe it's the pecans, no, definitely the chocolate, but hold on, they wouldn't taste as good without the flaked coconut. I give up!

Five ingredients of sweetened condensed milk, oatmeal, pecans, coconut, and chocolate chips individually plated and named on a white countertop.
  • Sweetened condensed milk - this is where sweet creaminess comes in; it hardens after the cookie cools and binds the cookie together. No need for egg, fat, or flour.
  • Old-fashioned rolled oats - oats give a nutty, chewy filling; a good replacement for wheat flour, too.
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips - a little sweet and lots of chocolaty taste.
  • Pecans - for a buttery, sweet crunch.
  • Unsweetened coconut flakes - the taste of naturally sweet coconut adds texture to this magic cookie.
