Description

This Oreo brownie pie is three layers of pure chocolatey goodness baked into one pie plate. A soft cookie dough base, a layer of whole Oreo cookies, and a rich, fudgy brownie top come together in the easiest way. Mix, layer, bake, and done! It makes two pies at once, so there's always one to share and one to keep.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 16-ounce package of ready-made refrigerated cookie dough, any flavor
  • 28 Oreo sandwich cookies, any flavor or kind that goes with chocolate
  • 1 16-ounce package of any chocolate brownie mix
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons water

A sprinkle of chocolate chips and nuts is optional for topping before baking.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Lightly spray 2 9-inch pie plates with cooking spray.
  3. Press 1/2 of the cookie dough evenly into the bottom of each pie plate.
  4. Layer 14 cookies over the cookie dough of each pie in a single layer.
  5. Mix the brownie mix with eggs, oil, and water until smooth.
  6. Spoon half of the brownie mix evenly over the cookies in each pie.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes, or 25 minutes if topped with chocolate chips, nuts, or other toppings.
  8. Cool before cutting to serve, or dig in for a hot, molten-fudge pie.

Notes

  • Use any chocolate-flavored brownie mix (fudge, milk chocolate, Reese's, with or without nuts) with any cookie dough flavor and any flavor or form of Oreo sandwich cookies that pairs well with chocolate brownies.
  • Do not skip the cooking spray.
  • Press the cookie dough evenly.
  • Do not overbake.
  • Serving it warm is a treat.
  • Make one, freeze one.
