Blueberry-Mandarin Ranch Salad

A quick, fresh-tasting fruit, nut, and green salad tossed with your favorite ranch dressing. The tastes complement each other deliciously!

Ingredients

11 ounces mixed salad greens

111 ounce canned mandarin oranges, drained

6 ounces fresh blueberries

1/2 cup dried cranberries, 50 % less sugar

1/2 cup walnuts, rough chopped

1/4 cup purple onions, diced

1/2 cup croutons

Ranch dressing

Instructions

Place the ingredients except for the dressing in a large salad bowl.

Mix together.

Serve Ranch dressing on the side or squeeze onto the top of the salad when serving. 

Serve immediately.

 

Notes

Try other ingredients like sliced strawberries, cooked bacon, and salty cheeses such as fresh parmesan.

Add the croutons and dressing after the salad is stored in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving.

Omit or reduce the amount of cranberries for less carb content in this salad.
