- 3 cups pecan halves, shelled and cleaned
- 3 1/2 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Place pecans in a large bowl.
- Melt butter and pour it over pecans.
- Sprinkle the nuts with salt and stir all the ingredients together several times, ensuring the pecans are evenly coated with butter and salt.
- Single-layer the pecans on the parchment paper-lined pan.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, then remove the nuts from the oven and turn them over with long-handled tongs.
- Return to oven for another 10-12 minutes, being careful not to over-roast.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool thoroughly before storing in an airtight container, such as a glass jar with a screw-on lid or a zip-top bag.
